As a Track&Field athlete, Dr Karen Freeberg started out throwing things for a living. As an early adopter (she got a domain name for her 13th b’day), Karen had a love for PR, communication and social media. She self directed her academic career into new territory when other believed she was studying “that weird thing”. Karen experienced much resistance through pioneering chance, yet can now look back at many successes along the way. Change has never worried her: “It’s where it’s going, so better go there together”
